In August 2020, I brought my 2014 BMW X1 in for new Brake pads and rotors, front and back...cost $1,000. Lacey Auto Care did not make me aware, nor explain to me that they were not using Non-Original Equipment Manufactured (“Non-OEM“) parts. Just 3-4 months later, upon braking, car and steering wheel are pulsating really bad. I take it back to them and they tell me I now need calipers and also to replace my brakes again because the calipers ruined the brakes and they aren't covered under any warranty and it will be another $963! I told them I'd have to think about that and took my car to another shop who told me the calipers were fine and that I in fact needed Thrust arms for the front brakes and that was causing the excessive movement and amplifying the brake disc pulsation and also I did need new brakes because Lacey Auto Care used OEM parts! I would not recommend Lacey Auto Care and do not trust them after this experience. I also feel I deserve my money back.

I'd like to share my experience at Lacey Auto Care. I spent over $1000 with them in August 2020 and then had to have the work on my car completely done over today for another $1600. So I would suggest getting a second opinion if your car needs a big job done. In August 2020, I brought my 2014 BMW X1 in for new Brake pads and rotors, front and back...cost $1,000. Michael said the brand of the tire that he wanted was not available. He wanted it to match the other tire that he had on the front. He has a matching pair on the rear and two different tires on the front.

Vinny said they had good customer service and did a great job.
